PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

All the breakthrough capability of the original MCX-Rattler, now more modular and mission-adaptable — the SIG MCX-Rattler LT compresses serious firepower into a compact, PDW-style platform built for Special Operations, close-quarters, and suppressed roles. The LT adds fully ambidextrous controls, an adjustable gas piston (suppressed/unsuppressed ready), and compatibility with interchangeable LT barrels and handguards so you can tailor the rifle to the mission in minutes.

Designed around a short-stroke piston operating system and SIG’s rugged engineering, the Rattler LT delivers predictable recoil, rock-solid reliability, and fast transitions from folded to firing. The package includes a SIG SLX/SLH suppressor-ready flash hider and a SIG flat-blade match trigger for crisp, controllable breaks. Built to accept standard AR-15 magazines and fitted with a folding minimalist PDW, the MCX-Rattler LT is a highly stowable, highly capable fighting rifle.

Why you’ll want it

  • Ultra-compact when stowed, full-function when deployed — ideal for vehicle crews, breachers, and CQB.

  • Fully ambidextrous controls (bolt catch/release, selector, charging) for fast, instinctive manipulation with either hand.

  • Adjustable gas piston gives reliable function suppressed or unsuppressed while reducing fouling and recoil impulse.

  • Interchangeable LT barrels and handguards mean field reconfiguration is simple and robust.

  • SIG SLX/SLH flash hider is QD/suppressor-ready and optimized for the 300 BLK round.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
