PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The IWI Galil ACE GEN II 8.3" Rifle represents the evolution of one of the most proven rifle platforms ever developed—combining the legendary reliability of the original Galil with modern enhancements driven by real-world user feedback. Built on a lineage inspired by the AK-47 and Finnish Valmet RK 62, the Galil ACE GEN II delivers unmatched durability, performance, and adaptability for today’s shooter.

Chambered in 5.56 NATO, this compact 8.3” configuration is engineered for maneuverability without sacrificing performance. The cold hammer forged, chrome-lined CrMoV barrel with a 1:7 twist rate ensures excellent durability, accuracy, and compatibility with a wide range of ammunition.

At the heart of the platform is a long-stroke gas piston system with a closed rotating bolt, providing the legendary reliability AK-pattern rifles are known for—especially in harsh environments. The left-side reciprocating charging handle allows for intuitive weak-hand manipulation, improving ergonomics and control under stress.

The GEN II upgrades bring modern performance enhancements, including a full-length 2-piece Picatinny top rail for optics mounting, a free-float M-LOK handguard for accessories, and an updated trigger and safety profile for improved handling and responsiveness. Weight reduction through advanced polymer components makes this rifle more agile while maintaining rugged durability.

Compatible with 5.56 NATO STANAG magazines and shipping with a 30-round capacity, the Galil ACE GEN II is a versatile, battle-proven platform reimagined for modern tactical applications.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
