The Springfield Armory® M1A™ Standard Issue 7.62 rifle is a modern tribute to the legendary M14, a national icon with roots dating back to the M1 rifle designed by John Cantius Garand. Serving from 1959 to the present, the M14’s durability and performance have made it a revered military rifle. The M1A™ Standard Issue model features a 22" carbon steel barrel with a 1:11" twist and six-groove rifling for excellent accuracy, whether at the range or in the field.
