PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The Springfield Armory® Hellcat™ 9mm is a micro-compact pistol engineered specifically for everyday carry, combining a remarkably compact footprint with an 11+1 standard capacity and 13+1 capacity when using the included extended magazine. Measuring just 1 inch wide and featuring a 3-inch hammer-forged steel barrel, the Hellcat delivers a compact carry platform without sacrificing magazine capacity.

The Hellcat's patented magazine design provides 11 rounds with the flush-fitting magazine, while the included extended magazine increases capacity to 13 rounds. Its compact dimensions, lightweight construction, and Adaptive Grip Texture™ make the Hellcat well suited to concealed-carry applications.

The pistol features a black polymer frame with Adaptive Grip Texture™ designed to provide a secure, consistent grip. The billet-machined slide and hammer-forged steel barrel both feature a durable Melonite® finish.

The 3-inch barrel uses a 1:10 twist rate, while the dual captive recoil spring system with full-length guide rod contributes to the Hellcat's compact operating design.

The Hellcat is equipped with U-Dot™ sights, featuring a tritium and luminescent front sight paired with a Tactical Rack rear sight. The slide is optics ready, allowing compatible micro red-dot optics to mount directly to the slide for a low-profile configuration. Recommended optics include the Shield RMSc.

At only 6 inches long and 1 inch wide, with a listed weight of 17.9 ounces with the flush magazine and 18.3 ounces with the extended magazine, the Springfield Armory Hellcat provides a compact 9mm platform with a high-capacity magazine system.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
