Item # TAR 1-2TX22P141F MSRP $389.99PRODUCT DETAILS
TECH SPECS:
The Taurus TX22 T.O.R.O. FDE brings the next generation of rimfire performance to life in a Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish—combining reliability, capacity, and modern styling in a full-size platform. Built on the proven TX22 foundation, this model is engineered for training, competition, and high-volume range use.
At its core is the Taurus Performance Trigger System (PTS), delivering a smooth, consistent break for improved control and accuracy. The 4.6” threaded barrel with 1/2x28 pitch allows for suppressor compatibility, while the slide is cut for the widely used Shield RMSc footprint, enabling easy mounting of micro red dot optics.
Enhanced iron sights—including a fixed white dot front and drift-adjustable rear—provide dependable backup aiming. The lightweight slide incorporates lightening cuts for improved balance and faster handling, while the integrated MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail allows for weapon-mounted accessories.
With a high-capacity 22-round magazine and an additional 16-round magazine included, the TX22 T.O.R.O. is built for extended shooting sessions with fewer reloads. A comprehensive safety system—featuring a manual thumb safety, striker block, and trigger safety—ensures secure operation.
Finished in Flat Dark Earth, this TX22 delivers standout aesthetics with the same trusted performance—making it a top choice for shooters looking for a versatile, optics-ready rimfire pistol.

In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
