The Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 brings the high-velocity 5.7x28mm cartridge to the proven M&P platform, combining a high-capacity design with Smith & Wesson's innovative TEMPO® Barrel System. Built around a rotating 5-inch stainless steel barrel, the TEMPO® system uses a gas-operated, locked-breech design engineered specifically for the 5.7x28mm cartridge.

With a 22-round capacity and two 22-round magazines included, the M&P5.7 provides substantial capacity for range use. The internal hammer-fired action features a crisp single-action trigger break and flat-face trigger designed to provide consistent finger placement.

The 5-inch stainless steel barrel features a 1:9-inch twist rate and threaded muzzle, while the optics-ready slide provides compatibility with select pistol-mounted optics. Forward slide serrations offer additional slide manipulation options, and a Picatinny-style accessory rail provides a mounting point for compatible accessories.

The polymer frame features a slim, optimally textured grip, ambidextrous slide stop, and reversible magazine release. This model is configured without a manual safety, providing a streamlined control layout.

Finished in black and manufactured in the USA, the M&P 5.7 combines the familiar ergonomics of the M&P platform with the unique characteristics of the 5.7x28mm cartridge and TEMPO® operating system.
