The IWI Masada™ 9mm Optics-Ready Pistol – Flat Dark Earth (FDE) (Public Service Professional Program) delivers modern striker-fired performance in a duty-ready platform built for those who serve. Designed for military, law enforcement, and qualified public safety professionals, the Masada combines reliability, ergonomics, and modularity with a rugged FDE polymer frame suited for demanding operational environments.

Engineered with a low bore axis, the Masada reduces perceived recoil and improves control, allowing for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. Its fully ambidextrous controls, including slide stop and magazine release, ensure intuitive handling for both right- and left-handed shooters. The ergonomic grip angle, paired with three interchangeable wraparound backstraps (S, M, L) and a deep beavertail, provides a natural point of aim and a secure, customizable fit.

The FDE frame is constructed from high-strength, fiberglass-reinforced polymer, offering durability and resistance to harsh environmental conditions. Enhanced grip texture ensures consistent control in wet, dry, or gloved use, while the enlarged trigger guard accommodates duty gear and gloves.

Internally, the Masada features a modular serialized steel trigger mechanism housing, simplifying maintenance and increasing long-term serviceability. The 6 lb trigger pull delivers a clean break with a positive reset, supported by an integrated trigger safety for reliable operation.

Optics-ready from the factory, the Masada includes four adapter plates compatible with Trijicon RMR, Vortex Venom, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, and SIG ROMEO1 optics—allowing seamless integration of modern red dot systems. An integrated Picatinny accessory rail enables the use of weapon lights and other accessories.

As part of IWI’s Public Service Professional Program, this FDE variant is tailored for qualified professionals seeking a dependable, adaptable sidearm at a preferred value—without compromising performance.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
