TECH SPECS:

The SIG SAUER XRAY5™ Advanced Red Dot Sight brings a solid-state architecture and fully enclosed optical design to the modern pistol optic. The SOX54300 features a 225-pixel red dot matrix that enables digital zeroing without traditional mechanical adjustment components, eliminating moving parts within the zeroing system and providing a durable, repeatable sighting platform.

The patented Zero Distortion Optic (ZDO™) system is designed to provide a clear sight picture, while Digital Zero technology allows users to establish, save, and recall multiple zero profiles through the XRAY5 App. Adjustment is performed through digital button presses and app-guided setup, providing a different approach to conventional mechanical windage and elevation adjustments.

The LightFight™ adaptive illumination system provides intelligent reticle brightness management, while MOTAC™ Motion Activated Illumination helps conserve battery life by activating the optic when motion is detected. The integrated Round Counter adds another digital feature with a convenient reset function.

Built for demanding conditions, the XRAY5 uses a fully enclosed, sealed, and argon-purged optical system for added protection from environmental exposure. A rugged 7075 aluminum housing and Grade 5 titanium lens shield protect the optical assembly, while the IPX8 waterproof rating supports submersion to 40 meters (132 feet).

The 3.5 MOA red dot reticle is supported by 15 illumination settings, including 13 daytime and 2 night-vision settings. The optic provides 80 MOA of total elevation travel and 80 MOA of total windage travel.

Designed, developed, tested, and assembled in the USA, the SIG SAUER XRAY5 SOX54300 uses a COMPACT (Shield RMSc) RX footprint with a top-mount configuration. Measuring 1.74 inches long, 1.32 inches wide, and 1.20 inches high, the black anodized optic is powered by a side-loading CR2032 battery with a listed runtime of up to 10,000 hours.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
