TECH SPECS:

Experience ultimate visibility and battlefield-ready performance with the EOTech HWS-552 — a night-vision compatible holographic weapon sight trusted by U.S. Special Operations and designed for fast reactions in any lighting. Powered by globally available AA batteries (alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable), the 552 balances long battery life with rugged durability and advanced sighting features. It mounts easily to any 1" Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail, making it a versatile upgrade for close-quarters or medium engagement platforms.

The HWS-552 includes 20 daylight brightness levels and 10 additional settings that are fully compatible with Gen I through Gen III+ night vision devices. Each click of the windage or elevation is just 0.5 MOA, allowing precise adjustments without over-correction. With a fully waterproof rating up to 33 feet (10 m), an operating temperature range from -40°F to 140°F, and rugged construction made in the USA, this sight is built to perform in the harshest conditions.

Other features include its 68 MOA outer ring paired with a 1 MOA center dot reticle (for fast target acquisition and accurate precision aiming), an anti-reflection coated window, and a size/weight balance (5.6" × 2" × 2.5", 11.5 oz) that fits comfortably on many platforms without over-burdening your setup.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
