TECH SPECS:

The SIG Sauer ROMEO-X SIG-LOC 6 MOA Green Dot is a rugged, enclosed pistol-mounted red dot optic engineered for durability, reliability, and precision in demanding environments. Built around SIG Sauer's innovative SIG-LOC™ (Leverage Optimized Connection) mounting system, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC establishes five total points of contact between the optic and pistol slide for a secure, low-profile connection designed to withstand recoil and impacts.

The fully enclosed, sealed, and purged optical system provides protection from the elements, while the rugged 7075 aluminum housing and distortion-free aspherical glass lens deliver a durable and clear sighting solution. The optic's extended focal length helps reduce parallax and reticle distortion while producing a crisp, forgiving aiming point.

The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC features a 6 MOA green dot reticle, 1x magnification, and 24mm objective lens. With 15 illumination settings—including 12 daytime and 3 night-vision settings—the optic provides flexible brightness control for a variety of lighting conditions. MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) helps conserve battery life by activating the optic when motion is detected.

Designed with an industry-low deck height, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC is capable of standard-height iron sight co-witnessing on compatible platforms. A side-loading CR1632 battery provides up to 20,000 hours of battery life.

Additional features include SIG Sauer's Infinite Guarantee, LensArmor™, SpectraCoat™, MAGNETAC™, D.A.R.C.™, and SIG-LOC™ technologies. The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC is assembled in the USA and provides a robust enclosed-emitter optic solution for compatible SIG-LOC pistol platforms.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
