TECH SPECS:

The SIG SAUER ROMEO-X Compact brings military-inspired durability and advanced red dot performance to concealed carry and defensive handguns. Designed specifically for the P365 family and other optics-ready pistols utilizing the Shield RMSc footprint, the ROMEO-X Compact combines a rugged CNC-machined 7075 aluminum housing with an ultra-low deck height for a true co-witness with standard-height iron sights.

Inspired by the proven performance of the military-grade ROMEO-M17, the ROMEO-X Compact features a distortion-free aspherical lens for a crisp sight picture and rapid target acquisition. The innovative patent-pending beryllium copper flexure arm enhances durability and reliability under recoil, while SIG's MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) technology automatically powers the optic on when movement is detected and powers it down when idle to maximize battery life.

A side-mounted CR1632 battery compartment allows battery changes without removing the optic or losing zero, delivering up to 20,000 hours of runtime. With 15 illumination settings, including 3 night vision-compatible modes, the ROMEO-X Compact is built for concealed carry, duty use, and personal defense applications where reliability matters most.

Designed, tested, and assembled in the USA, the ROMEO-X Compact delivers premium performance, rugged construction, and seamless integration with today's most popular optics-ready pistols.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
