TECH SPECS:

The SIG SAUER ROMEO-X COMPACT is a military-grade, open-emitter pistol-mounted red dot optic designed specifically for the SIG SAUER P365 family and pistols utilizing the Shield RMSc footprint. Combining a compact profile with rugged construction and advanced illumination technology, the ROMEO-X COMPACT delivers dependable performance in a streamlined package designed for everyday carry, personal protection, and range use.

Inspired by the MIL-SPEC ROMEO-M17, the ROMEO-X COMPACT features a CNC-machined 7075 aluminum housing and a patent-pending beryllium copper flexure arm engineered to provide a durable and reliable optic platform. The distortion-free aspherical lens delivers a clear sight picture, while the open-emitter design maintains a compact footprint suitable for slim, optic-ready pistols.

The ROMEO-X COMPACT features a low deck height designed to allow co-witnessing with standard-height iron sights, providing shooters with a versatile sighting system. Its direct-mount COMPACT footprint is compatible with the Shield RMSc pattern, making it an ideal optic for compatible P365-family pistols and other RMSc-footprint handguns.

A side-loading CR1632 battery compartment allows for convenient battery replacement without removing the optic or requiring a re-zero. MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) helps conserve battery life by activating the optic when motion is detected, providing up to 20,000 hours of runtime.

The ROMEO-X COMPACT provides 15 total illumination settings, including 12 daytime settings and three dedicated night-vision settings. The SORX1270 model features a Green Circle Dot reticle for rapid target acquisition and a versatile aiming reference suitable for a wide range of shooting applications.

Designed, tested, and assembled in the USA, the SIG SAUER ROMEO-X COMPACT combines rugged 7075 aluminum construction, an ultra-low deck height, direct-mount compatibility, long battery life, and advanced illumination technology in a compact pistol optic.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
