TECH SPECS:

The SIG SAUER ROMEO-X® Enclosed Compact Red Dot Sight combines a fully enclosed optical system with rugged construction and a compact footprint designed for compatible pistol platforms. Featuring a precision-machined 7075 aluminum housing, an aspherical glass lens system, and a Shield RMSc footprint, this enclosed pistol optic is designed for the SIG SAUER P365 and other compatible optics-ready handguns.

The fully enclosed, sealed, and argon-purged optical system helps protect critical optical components from environmental exposure. Inspired by the MIL-SPEC ROMEO-M17, the ROMEO-X Enclosed features a patent-pending beryllium copper flexure system and a high-efficiency point-source emitter designed to provide a clear, distortion-controlled aiming image.

This SORX1470 configuration features a green 2/32 MOA Circle Dot reticle, combining a central aiming point with a surrounding circle. The optic offers 15 illumination settings, including 12 daylight settings and 3 night-vision-compatible settings, providing brightness options for different lighting conditions.

SIG SAUER's MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) technology helps conserve battery power by activating illumination when motion is detected. A convenient side-loading CR1632 battery compartment allows battery replacement without removing the optic from its mounting position, helping preserve the established zero. The listed battery runtime is up to 20,000 hours.

The ROMEO-X Enclosed Compact features an ultra-low deck height designed to support co-witnessing with compatible standard-height iron sights on properly configured pistols. Its IPX7 water-resistance rating adds environmental protection, while the compact dimensions make it suitable for compatible pistol-slide configurations.

Measuring 1.62 inches long, 1.23 inches wide, and 0.94 inches high, the optic features a 24mm objective lens diameter and provides 65 MOA of elevation travel and 70 MOA of windage travel. The ROMEO-X Enclosed Compact is assembled in the USA.

Combining a Shield RMSc footprint, green Circle Dot reticle, 7075 aluminum housing, enclosed optical system, and 20,000-hour battery runtime, the SIG SAUER ROMEO-X Enclosed Compact SORX1470 provides a compact optic configuration for compatible handguns.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
