TECH SPECS:

The SIG SAUER XRAY5™ Advanced Red Dot Sight combines a fully enclosed optical system with solid-state digital zeroing and a rugged construction designed for demanding pistol optic applications. The SOX55300 features a rigid 225-pixel red dot matrix that allows digital zeroing without traditional mechanical adjustment components, eliminating moving parts within the zeroing system.

The patented Zero Distortion Optic (ZDO™) system is designed to provide a clear, precise sight picture, while Digital Zero technology allows users to establish, save, and recall multiple zero profiles through the XRAY5 App. Digital adjustment is performed through button presses and app-guided setup.

The LightFight™ adaptive illumination system provides intelligent reticle illumination, while MOTAC™ Motion Activated Illumination helps manage battery use by activating the optic when motion is detected. The XRAY5 also includes an integrated Round Counter with reset functionality.

Designed for protection against the elements, the XRAY5 features a fully enclosed, sealed, and argon-purged optical system. The rugged 7075 aluminum housing is paired with a Grade 5 titanium lens shield to protect the optical assembly. An IPX8 waterproof rating supports submersion to 40 meters (132 feet).

The red 3.5 MOA dot reticle features 15 illumination settings, including 13 daylight and 2 night-vision settings. The optic provides 80 MOA of total elevation travel and 80 MOA of total windage travel.

The SIG SAUER XRAY5 SOX55300 uses the SIG-LOC PRO RX footprint with a SIG-LOC mount. The black anodized optic measures 1.9 inches long, 1.32 inches wide, and 1.17 inches high, with a listed runtime of up to 10,000 hours from a side-loading CR2032 battery.

Designed, developed, tested, and assembled in the USA, the XRAY5 is backed by the SIG SAUER Infinite Guarantee™.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
