PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The Ruger 10/22 combines the legendary reliability of Ruger's rimfire action with a precision-oriented barrel and factory-installed optic and accessory interfaces. This configuration features an 8-inch precision-rifled, cold hammer-forged barrel chambered in .22 LR, a factory-installed Picatinny scope rail, and a BX-Trigger® designed to provide a light, crisp trigger pull.

The BX-Trigger® is factory tuned to approximately 2.5–3 pounds and features minimal overtravel with a positive reset. The match-style bolt release makes it easy to advance the bolt with a quick pull and release to the rear, while the prominent push-button magazine release provides straightforward magazine changes.

A factory-installed Picatinny-style rear accessory rail provides additional mounting capability and incorporates an integrated QD sling attachment point. The receiver also features a rear cleaning port, allowing access to the barrel from the rear of the receiver for easier maintenance.

The precision-rifled, cold hammer-forged barrel is secured to the receiver using Ruger's unique two-screw V-block system and features a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle with thread protector. The ergonomic pistol grip can be replaced with compatible AR-style grips for additional customization.

A polymer trigger housing constructed from heat-stabilized, glass-filled material provides enhanced durability and resistance to impact and abrasion. The rifle includes one 15-round BX-15® magazine and a positive push-button cross-bolt manual safety.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
