The Kimber 2K11 Comp is a high-performance, double-stack 1911 engineered with an integrated compensator, match-grade components, and competition-focused features. Built one at a time by skilled technicians, the 2K11 Comp combines a 5-inch stainless steel barrel with a seamlessly integrated forward-port compensator designed to reduce felt recoil and help maintain a flatter shooting profile.
The 2K11 features a stainless steel frame and slide with DLC finishes, custom front and rear slide serrations, an ambidextrous safety, bumped grip safety, front-strap checkering, and a Stan Chen Customs magwell. Kimber's proprietary carbon fiber and glass matrix grip module provides a lightweight, durable interface.
A GT Match Grade aluminum trigger is tuned to a 3–4 lb. pull, while the 5R rifled, fluted, ramped stainless steel barrel uses a 1:10 left-hand twist rate. The sight system includes a TAG FiberLok 2 front sight, fixed rear cover plate, additional red and black fiber-optic inserts, and an included RMR adapter plate.
The Kimber 2K11 Comp includes one 17-round magazine and two 20-round magazines, along with a patent-pending toolless guide rod. With its competition-oriented configuration and integrated compensator, the 2K11 Comp represents Kimber's high-performance approach to the double-stack 1911 platform.
