The TAC Standard FS, like all Rock Island 1911s, is built with 4140 ordnance steel and is refined with our hand fitting process. Its 5" button rifled barrel is chambered in 45 ACP, is equipped with a full length guide rod, full dust cover and accessory rail. It also includes a low profile rear sight, fixed front sight, is fitted with a lightweight hammer and MR3 trigger with overtravel adjustment. The TAC Standard wears a tough parkerized, matte finished and adds the rubber double diamond grips for years of dependable use. True to all Rock Island 1911s, the TAC Standard FS comes with a crisp, 4 to 6 pound trigger pull, giving you great out-of-the-box performance.
