PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The Taurus TX22 TORO represents the next evolution in rimfire performance—delivering unmatched reliability, capacity, and shootability in a full-size, optics-ready platform. Designed for training, competition, and recreational shooting, the TX22 TORO combines innovative features with user-focused ergonomics.

At the heart of the platform is the Taurus Performance Trigger System (PTS), offering a crisp, consistent break and improved control for faster, more accurate shooting. The 4.6” threaded barrel with 1/2x28 pitch allows for suppressor compatibility, while proprietary slide lightening cuts reduce weight for enhanced balance and responsiveness.

Equipped with a Viridian RFX-11 3 MOA green dot optic, the TX22 TORO is ready for rapid target acquisition right out of the box. The slide utilizes the popular Shield RMSc footprint, providing compatibility with a wide range of micro red dot optics.

Additional features include a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for lights or lasers, drift adjustable rear sight paired with a fixed white dot front sight, and a manual thumb safety for added security. With both a 22-round and 16-round magazine included, the TX22 TORO delivers extended range sessions with minimal reloads.

Built on a durable polymer frame with an anodized slide finish, the Taurus TX22 TORO is a high-capacity, feature-rich rimfire pistol that punches well above its class.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
