PRODUCT DETAILS
TECH SPECS:
The Springfield Armory® Hellcat® OSP™ combines micro-compact dimensions, high magazine capacity, and an optics-ready design for concealed carry. This Desert Flat Dark Earth configuration features a precisely milled slide designed for flush mounting of compatible compact optics while maintaining the Hellcat's compact 9mm profile.
The Hellcat OSP provides up to 13+1 capacity with the included extended magazine while remaining just 1 inch wide and 6 inches long. The package includes one 11-round flush-fitting magazine and one 13-round extended magazine, giving users flexibility between the most compact configuration and increased capacity.
The billet-machined slide features a Desert FDE Cerakote® finish and an optics-ready rear slide deck designed to accept compatible micro red-dot sights. The optic can be installed in place of the included cover plate, allowing the Hellcat OSP to be configured according to the user's preference.
A 3-inch hammer-forged steel barrel features a black Melonite® finish and a 1:10 twist rate. The barrel's black finish contrasts with the Desert FDE slide and frame, while black controls complete the two-tone appearance.
The Desert FDE polymer frame incorporates Springfield Armory's Adaptive Grip Texture™, designed to provide increased grip as pressure is applied. The Hellcat also features a dual captive recoil spring system with a full-length guide rod.
For aiming, the Hellcat OSP uses a tritium/luminescent front sight and Tactical Rack U-Notch rear sight. The optics-ready slide provides the additional option of mounting a compatible compact red-dot optic directly to the slide.
At just 17.9 ounces with the flush magazine and 18.3 ounces with the extended magazine, the Hellcat OSP delivers a lightweight micro-compact format with a 6-inch overall length and 1-inch grip width.

In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
