PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The Echelon™ 4.0FC from Springfield Armory is purpose-built for shooters who demand full-size performance in a more compact, carry-ready footprint. By pairing a 4-inch hammer-forged barrel with a full-length grip module, the 4.0FC delivers superior control, capacity, and shootability—without the bulk of a traditional duty pistol.

At the heart of the platform is the innovative Central Operating Group (COG)—a serialized, self-contained stainless steel chassis engineered for durability and modularity. This system allows for adaptability across configurations while maintaining consistent performance and reliability.

This model comes factory-equipped with the Aimpoint® A-CUT™ interface, designed to directly mount the included Aimpoint COA® closed-emitter red dot sight. By eliminating the need for adapter plates, the A-CUT system reduces tolerance stacking and positions the optic lower in the slide for improved durability, faster sight acquisition, and superior zero retention.

With a 17-round flush-fit magazine and 20-round extended magazine included, the Echelon 4.0FC provides exceptional firepower out of the box. Combined with its ergonomic grip module, Melonite®-finished components, and rugged construction, this pistol is equally suited for duty, defense, and range performance.

Each pistol ships with a protective soft-sided handgun case, making transport secure and convenient.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
