PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The Springfield Armory Echelon™ 4.5F 9mm Handgun redefines modern duty and defensive pistols with next-generation ergonomics, modular design, and optics-ready versatility. Built around the robust Central Operating Group (COG) — a self-contained, serialized stainless-steel chassis — the Echelon delivers durable performance, crisp trigger feel, and easy maintenance in a platform designed for real-world handling.

Featuring a 4.5″ hammer-forged barrel with Melonite® finish and an optics-ready slide equipped with Springfield’s Variable Interface System™ for direct mounting of many popular red dot sights, the Echelon allows fast target acquisition and modern sight setups without complex adapters. Tritium-powered U-Dot™ sights provide reliable backup aiming in low-light conditions, while fully ambidextrous controls ensure intuitive operation for both right- and left-handed shooters.

The pistol ships with multiple magazines typically a 17-round and two 20-round magazines, but the gear pac comes with (3) 17rd & (1) 20rd, giving you flexibility and sustained capacity for range days or duty carry. With a balanced full-size frame, adaptive grip texture, and ergonomic indexing points, the Springfield Echelon 4.5F blends performance, adaptability, and reliability.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
