TECH SPECS:

The Smith & Wesson M&P® 2.0 Optics Ready Full-Size 9mm pistol continues the evolution of one of America's most trusted striker-fired handgun platforms. Built for personal defense, duty use, competition, and range training, this optics-ready pistol combines enhanced ergonomics, improved trigger performance, and exceptional reliability in a rugged polymer-frame package.

Featuring a factory optics-cut slide and seven included mounting plates, the M&P 2.0 is ready to accommodate a wide range of popular red dot optics. The threaded 4.625-inch stainless steel barrel allows easy suppressor or compensator attachment, while the low barrel bore axis helps minimize muzzle rise for faster follow-up shots and improved control under recoil.

The upgraded M2.0 flat-face trigger delivers a lighter, cleaner trigger pull with a tactile and audible reset, providing consistent finger placement and enhanced shot-to-shot accuracy. Forward slide serrations improve weapon manipulation, while the Picatinny accessory rail accommodates weapon lights and lasers.

Smith & Wesson's aggressive grip texture and four interchangeable palmswell inserts (Small, Medium, Medium-Large, and Large) allow shooters to customize grip size and trigger reach for optimal comfort and control. Internally, the extended rigid stainless steel chassis helps reduce flex and torque during firing, enhancing durability and shooting performance.

Finished in corrosion-resistant Armornite® black, the M&P 2.0 offers proven reliability, modern optics compatibility, and the performance demanded by serious shooters. Whether you're upgrading your defensive handgun or building a suppressor-ready range setup, this M&P delivers the features and dependability that have made the platform a top choice nationwide.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
