TECH SPECS:

The SIG SAUER XRAY5™ Advanced Red Dot Sight SOX56300 brings a fully enclosed optical system, solid-state construction, and digital zeroing technology to compatible pistol optic platforms. Featuring a rigid 225-pixel red dot matrix, the XRAY5 uses digitally selected pixels for zeroing rather than traditional mechanical adjustment components, providing a zeroing system with no moving parts.

The patented Zero Distortion Optic (ZDO™) system is designed to provide a clear and consistent sight picture, while Digital Zero technology allows users to establish, save, and recall multiple zero profiles through the XRAY5 App. Adjustments can be made using digital button presses or the app-guided setup process.

The LightFight™ adaptive illumination system provides adjustable reticle illumination, complemented by MOTAC™ Motion Activated Illumination. The XRAY5 also incorporates an intelligent Round Counter with reset functionality.

Built to protect the optical system from the elements, the XRAY5 features a fully enclosed, sealed, and argon-purged optical system. Its rugged 7075 aluminum housing is paired with a Grade 5 titanium lens shield to help protect the optic. The sight is rated IPX8 waterproof to depths of 40 meters (132 feet).

The 3.5 MOA red dot reticle offers 15 illumination settings, including 13 daylight and 2 night-vision settings. The optic provides 80 MOA of total elevation travel and 80 MOA of total windage travel.

The SIG SAUER XRAY5 SOX56300 uses the SIG-LOC COMPACT RX footprint and SIG-LOC mount. The black anodized optic measures 1.75 inches in length, 1.32 inches in width, and 1.75 inches in height. A side-loading CR2032 battery provides a listed runtime of up to 10,000 hours.

Designed, developed, tested, and assembled in the USA, the XRAY5 is backed by the SIG SAUER Infinite Guarantee™.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
