Available through the OFF-DUTY program for qualified military, law-enforcement, and first-responder purchasers, the SIG SAUER P211-GTO modernizes the classic hammer-fired platform with competition-grade control and tactical utility. Inspired by 1911 heritage but engineered for today’s demands, the P211-GTO pairs a precision 4.4″ bull barrel with SIG’s Mach3D compensator to deliver exceptionally flat, fast follow-ups and minimal muzzle rise.

Built on a stainless-steel frame with a full-length dust cover and 1913 Picatinny rail, the P211-GTO is balanced and rigid for repeatable accuracy. The pistol accepts P320-compatible steel magazines and ships with one 23-round and two 21-round magazines for high capacity out of the box. A straight-pull, skeletonized flat trigger (SAO) gives a crisp, repeatable break, while layered safeties — grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safeties, and a firing-pin safety — keep the pistol secure under duty conditions.

Whether you’re a competitor, an armorer upgrading a duty rig, or an OFF-DUTY purchaser looking for a high-performance carry or range pistol, the P211-GTO is a bold evolution where classic ergonomics meet modern innovation.

Why OFF-DUTY buyers choose the P211-GTO

  • Fast, flat shooting: 4.4″ bull barrel + Mach3D compensator reduces recoil and muzzle rise.

  • High capacity: Ships with (1) 23-rd and (2) 21-rd P320-compatible steel magazines for extended strings.

  • Duty-ready construction: Stainless steel frame, full-length dust cover, and 1913 accessory rail.

  • Precision control: Straight-pull skeletonized flat trigger and fiber-optic front sight for fast, accurate shots.

  • Robust safety package: Grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safeties, and firing-pin safety provide redundant security.

  • Optic ready: SIG-LOC PRO footprint for modern mini-red-dot mounting.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
