TECH SPECS:

The SIG SAUER ROMEO8T-AMR SHROUD FDE combines advanced red dot technology with rugged construction and a precision-machined titanium protective shroud. Finished in Flat Dark Earth (FDE), this compact 1X red dot sight features a large 40mm high-performance multi-coated Mangin lens, reinforced housing, and SIG SAUER's innovative Automatic Modified Reticle™ (AMR™) technology.

Built for demanding conditions, the ROMEO8T-AMR SHROUD features a ruggedized housing paired with a titanium shroud designed to help protect critical optical and electronic components against impact. Its Quad Ballistic Circle Dot 2.0 reticle and parallax-free optical system provide a versatile aiming configuration, while AMR technology works with compatible JULIET3T-AMR™ magnifiers to transition between user-selectable reticle configurations as the magnifier is engaged or disengaged.

The optic offers 15 illumination settings, including 12 daylight and 3 night-vision settings, along with a dedicated night-vision override switch. SIG SAUER's MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) technology helps manage battery power, providing a listed runtime of up to 50,000 hours using one CR123 battery.

Designed for environmental protection and durability, the ROMEO8T-AMR SHROUD features IPX8 waterproof and fogproof performance and is engineered to meet MIL-STD-810 durability protocols. The optic provides 100 MOA of total elevation travel and 100 MOA of total windage travel for adjustment flexibility.

Measuring approximately 2.9 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 2.6 inches high, the ROMEO8T-AMR SHROUD weighs 11.3 ounces. Flip-back lens covers are included, and the optic is assembled in Oregon, USA.

Combining a 40mm Mangin lens, titanium protective shroud, AMR reticle technology, and FDE finish, the SIG SAUER ROMEO8T-AMR SHROUD delivers a rugged, feature-rich red dot sight backed by the SIG SAUER Infinite Guarantee™.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
