TECH SPECS:

The SIG SAUER ROMEO8T-AMR SHROUD combines the advanced optical performance of the ROMEO8T-AMR red dot sight with a precision-machined titanium protective shroud designed for demanding conditions. Featuring a ruggedized housing, a large 40mm high-performance multi-coated Mangin lens, and advanced reticle technology, this 1x red dot optic provides a wide sight picture in a durable, compact configuration.

The Automatic Modified Reticle (AMR™) technology is designed to work with compatible JULIET3T-AMR™ magnifiers, automatically transitioning between user-selectable reticle configurations when the magnifier is engaged or disengaged. The Quad Ballistic Circle Dot 2.0 reticle provides a versatile aiming pattern, while the parallax-free optical system supports consistent sight alignment.

The reinforced exterior combines a ruggedized housing with a precision-machined titanium shroud to help protect the optic's critical optical and electronic components from impact. Engineered to meet MIL-STD-810 durability protocols, the ROMEO8T-AMR SHROUD also features IPX8 waterproof and fogproof performance for demanding environments.

The sight offers 15 illumination settings, including 12 daylight settings and 3 night-vision settings, plus a dedicated night-vision override switch. SIG SAUER's MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) technology helps conserve battery life, delivering a listed runtime of up to 50,000 hours from one CR123 battery.

With 1x magnification, 100 MOA of elevation adjustment, and 100 MOA of windage adjustment, the ROMEO8T-AMR SHROUD combines a large objective lens with advanced illumination and reticle functionality. The optic measures approximately 2.9 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 2.6 inches high, and weighs 11.3 ounces.

The SIG SAUER ROMEO8T-AMR SHROUD includes flip-back lens covers and is assembled in Oregon, USA. Backed by the SIG SAUER Infinite Guarantee™, it combines AMR reticle technology, a titanium shroud, a 40mm objective lens, and ruggedized construction in a high-performance red dot sight.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
