TECH SPECS:

The SIG SAUER ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO is a rugged, fully enclosed pistol-mounted red dot optic engineered for demanding civilian and professional applications. Built around the innovative SIG-LOC™ (Leverage Optimized Connection) mounting system, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO establishes five total points of contact between the optic and compatible pistol slide, creating an exceptionally strong and secure lockup designed to resist zero shift from recoil and harsh impacts.

Inspired by the MIL-SPEC ROMEO-M17, the SIG-LOC™ mounting system uses a unique bottom-mounted interface that provides an extended focal length to dramatically reduce parallax and reticle distortion. The result is an incredibly forgiving sight picture with a crisp, distortion-free reticle for rapid target acquisition and precision aiming.

The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO features a rugged 7075 aluminum housing and a fully enclosed, sealed, and purged optical system designed to protect the optic from the elements. A distortion-free aspherical glass lens delivers a clear sight picture, while MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) helps conserve battery life by activating the optic when motion is detected.

Featuring a 6 MOA Green Dot reticle, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO is designed for fast and intuitive target acquisition, making it an excellent choice for close-range pistol applications. With an industry-low deck height, the optic is designed to allow co-witnessing with standard-height iron sights on compatible pistols.

The optic provides 15 illumination settings, including three dedicated night-vision settings, and delivers up to 20,000 hours of battery life from a side-loading CR2032 battery. The SIG-LOC footprint is compatible with purpose-built SIG-LOC pistol slides while remaining compatible with traditional top-mount reflex sights on SIG-LOC-configured slides.

The SIG SAUER ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO combines advanced optical performance, rugged construction, and innovative mounting technology in a compact pistol red dot designed for reliability when it matters most. Assembled in the USA and backed by SIG SAUER's INFINITE GUARANTEE, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO is built to deliver dependable performance in demanding conditions.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
