TECH SPECS:

The SIG Sauer ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO is a rugged, fully enclosed pistol-mounted optic engineered for durability, precision, and reliable performance in demanding conditions. Featuring a 2 MOA dot with a 32 MOA green circle reticle, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO provides a versatile aiming solution designed to combine a precise center aiming point with a larger circular reference for rapid target acquisition.

At the core of the optic is SIG Sauer's SIG-LOC™ (Leverage Optimized Connection) mounting system. The bottom-mounted SIG-LOC™ interface establishes five total points of contact between the optic and compatible pistol slide, creating a low-profile, ultra-tough connection designed to resist movement caused by recoil and impacts. SIG-LOC-equipped slides also remain compatible with traditional top-mount reflex sights.

The optical system is fully enclosed, sealed, and purged for enhanced protection from environmental elements. A rugged 7075 aluminum housing and distortion-free aspherical glass lens provide a durable and clear sight picture. The longer focal length helps reduce parallax and reticle distortion while providing a crisp and forgiving viewing experience.

The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO features 1x magnification, a 24mm objective lens, and 15 illumination settings, including 12 daytime settings and 3 dedicated night-vision settings. MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) helps conserve battery life by activating illumination when motion is detected.

An industry-low deck height supports standard-height iron sight co-witnessing on compatible platforms. A side-loading CR2032 battery provides up to 20,000 hours of battery life, while IPX-8 waterproofing provides additional protection against demanding environmental conditions.

The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO incorporates SIG Sauer technologies including LensArmor™, SpectraCoat™, MAGNETAC™, D.A.R.C.™, and SIG-LOC™, and is assembled in the USA and backed by SIG Sauer's Infinite Guarantee.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
