TECH SPECS:

The SIG Sauer ROMEO-X SIG-LOC SORX1680 3 MOA Green Dot is a compact, enclosed pistol-mounted optic engineered for durability, precision, and reliable performance in demanding conditions. Built around SIG Sauer's innovative SIG-LOC™ (Leverage Optimized Connection) mounting system, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC establishes five total points of contact between the optic and compatible pistol slide, creating a secure, low-profile connection designed to resist movement from recoil and impacts.

The fully enclosed, sealed, and purged optical system helps protect the optic from dust, moisture, and other environmental elements. A rugged 7075 aluminum housing and distortion-free aspherical glass lens provide a durable and clear sight picture, while the extended focal length helps minimize parallax and reticle distortion.

The 3 MOA green dot reticle provides a precise aiming point while maintaining a fast sight picture. The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC features 1x magnification, a 24mm objective lens, and 15 illumination settings, including 12 daytime settings and 3 dedicated night-vision settings. MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) helps conserve battery power by activating the illumination when motion is detected.

With an industry-low deck height, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC is designed for standard-height iron sight co-witnessing on compatible platforms. A side-loading CR1632 battery provides up to 20,000 hours of battery life.

The SORX1680 also incorporates SIG Sauer technologies including LensArmor™, SpectraCoat™, MAGNETAC™, D.A.R.C.™, and SIG-LOC™, and is backed by SIG Sauer's Infinite Guarantee. Assembled in the USA, the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC SORX1680 provides a rugged enclosed-emitter green-dot solution for compatible SIG-LOC pistol platforms.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
