TECH SPECS:

The SIG Sauer ROMEO-X Compact is a streamlined, open-emitter pistol optic designed specifically for optic-ready compact pistols, including the SIG Sauer P365 family. Developed from SIG Sauer's experience producing durable red-dot optics for demanding military applications, the ROMEO-X combines a rugged CNC-machined 7075 aluminum housing, low-profile design, and direct-mount footprint in a compact package.

The ROMEO-X Compact uses the Shield RMSc footprint and features a top-mount configuration for compatible optic-ready pistols. Its industry-low deck height allows co-witnessing with standard-height iron sights, while the distortion-free aspherical lens provides a clear sight picture.

This model features a 2 MOA dot with a 32 MOA circle reticle, combining a precise center aiming point with a larger circular reference for fast target acquisition. MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) helps conserve battery power by activating illumination when motion is detected.

The ROMEO-X Compact provides 15 illumination settings, including 12 daytime settings and 3 dedicated night-vision settings. A side-loading CR1632 battery provides up to 20,000 hours of runtime, while the IPX-7 waterproof rating helps protect the optic from environmental exposure.

A patent-pending beryllium copper flexure arm, intuitive adjustment buttons, open-emitter design, and durable 7075 aluminum construction make the ROMEO-X Compact a purpose-built optic for modern compact pistols. The optic is designed, tested, and assembled in the USA.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
