The Shadow Systems MR920 Combat 9mm Pistol is a high-performance tactical handgun designed for both everyday carry and competitive use. Built from the ground up with a custom-like feel, the MR920 Combat offers a blend of precision, reliability, and low recoil. Its features, derived from the popular MR918 Combat, have been further refined to provide superior performance for a variety of shooters.
This compact pistol includes a recoil control ledge on the dust cover for improved muzzle control during rapid fire, and a Natural Point of Aim (NPOA) backstrap system that adjusts the backstrap angle for a personalized fit. The MR920 features a highly textured frame for a solid grip, three interchangeable backstraps, a removable magazine well, and a backstrap removal tool for added convenience.
The 416R stainless steel barrel is conventionally rifled and coated with either Bronze Titanium Carbo-nitride or Black Nitride, ensuring durability and reliability. The 17-4 PH stainless steel slide is coated in Nitride and features both front and rear directional serrations, making it easier to manipulate and reducing holster friction.
The MR920 Combat includes a flat-faced aluminum trigger with a 4.0-4.5 lbs pull and smooth take-up, ensuring a crisp and controlled shot every time. A magwell extension allows for faster reloads, while the extended beavertail prevents slide bite, providing comfort during use.
