PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The Rugged Suppressors Oculus22 Tan delivers versatile performance, exceptional durability, and modular functionality in a premium .22 caliber rimfire suppressor. Constructed entirely from 17-4PH stainless steel, the Oculus22 is engineered for long-term durability, ease of maintenance, and compatibility with a wide range of cleaning methods. Its Tan Cerakote finish adds a distinctive appearance to this rugged suppressor platform.

ADAPT® Modular Technology

The Oculus22 features ADAPT® Modular Technology, allowing users to switch between two configurations in seconds. Choose the standard configuration for a 5.25-inch overall length and 6.9-ounce weight, or convert to the shorter configuration measuring 3.25 inches and weighing just 4.3 ounces. This modular design provides flexibility without requiring a separate suppressor for each configuration.

Keyed Stainless Steel Baffles

Precision-machined from 17-4 stainless steel barstock, the Oculus22 uses keyed baffles with indexing tabs designed to support repeatable alignment after servicing. The keyed baffle system also creates a gas seal that helps reduce carbon and gas buildup between the baffles and tube, simplifying disassembly and maintenance.

Suppression Performance and Durability

The Oculus22 is engineered for class-leading suppression, with Rugged Suppressors stating that the standard configuration delivers no first-round pop. Its all-stainless-steel construction supports demanding use, while the mounting system incorporates engraving on the thickest cross-section of the mount to facilitate replacement if the mount becomes damaged beyond repair.

Belt-Fed and Multi-Caliber Ratings

Designed for versatile rimfire applications, the Oculus22 is .22 LR Belt Fed Rated® and rated by the manufacturer for .22 WMR, .17 HMR, .17 WSM, and 5.7×28mm. Rugged Suppressors identifies these additional calibers as full-auto rated. Always verify the manufacturer's current caliber, ammunition, and firearm requirements before use.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
