TECH SPECS:

The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite Model 43956 is a lightweight .22 LR semi-automatic pistol designed with a combination of versatile features, comfortable ergonomics, and easy maintenance. The pistol features a 10+1 round capacity, 4.40-inch threaded barrel, polymer grip frame, and lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum receiver with a black anodized finish.

A simple one-button takedown allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and separate from the grip frame without tools, providing convenient field-stripping and access for proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. The tensioned stainless steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with precise rifling designed for accuracy and barrel longevity.

The 1/2"-28 threaded barrel includes a thread protector and provides compatibility with a variety of compatible muzzle accessories. The lightweight receiver and tensioned barrel help keep the overall pistol weight at just 25 ounces.

The precision-molded polymer grip frame features a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap, while checkered 1911-style grip panels provide a comfortable, secure hold. The internal cylindrical bolt is designed to maintain sight-to-barrel alignment, while the contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears support reliable operation.

For sighting and customization, the Mark IV 22/45 Lite features a fixed front sight, adjustable rear sight, and factory-installed Picatinny rail for mounting compatible optics. The ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side-only operation using the included washer.

Additional features include an ergonomic bolt stop, conveniently located push-button magazine release, free-dropping magazines, and a magazine disconnect. The pistol includes two 10-round magazines.

With its 25-ounce lightweight design, threaded 4.40-inch barrel, 10+1 capacity, Picatinny rail, and 1911-style controls and grip panels, the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite 43956 is configured for target shooting, training, recreational shooting, and range use.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
