TECH SPECS:

The PROTEK Model 1016D Carbon Composite Dive 1010 Series-USMC is a rugged 42mm dive watch built for dependable performance in demanding environments. Featuring a distinctive black dial with desert sand accents and a genuine sand rubber strap, this USMC-series watch combines tactical styling with durable construction and reliable timekeeping.

The 1016D features a lightweight carbon composite case paired with a 60-click unidirectional ratcheting dive timing bezel for precise elapsed-time tracking. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with antireflective coating provides clear, glare-reduced viewing, while the screw-in 316L stainless steel caseback and crown with multiple O-rings provide additional durability and water resistance.

Rated to 300 meters of water resistance, the watch is designed for serious water use, with each watch tested in both air and water. Inside, the Japanese Citizen/Miyota 2S60 quartz 3-hand and date movement delivers dependable accuracy and includes a 10-year battery life.

For low-light visibility, the 1016D uses a Swiss self-powered Pro-Glo T25 illumination system that continuously glows for up to 25 years without requiring an external light source for charging. The genuine sand rubber strap incorporates a steel tube molded into the strap for the spring pins, providing added strength and durability, and is finished with a steel signature buckle.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
