The Sporter from Pioneer Arms is a compact AK Rifle built for a fun and Compact shooting experience. This Version of the Sporter is in the in the legendary 7.62x39mm cartridge. This Rifle is modeled after the AKMS with the underfolder giving a light package that can be made compact in a flash. This new production AK is made with a forged trunnion for maximum strength and longevity. The pistol comes with AKM style furniture and sights lending to a wide variety of aftermarket support. The enlarged magazine release is meant for easer mag changes and more positive magazine retention. This particular model doesn't come with the side rail for the addition of optics. In all this AK Rifle is built to give you options for enjoying a classic Compact eastern platform.
