PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The Magpul PMAG D-60 AR/M4 GEN M3 combines the proven design features of the PMAG GEN M3 platform with a 60-round drum configuration for compatible 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington firearms. Designed for the AR15/M4 platform, the D-60 provides increased magazine capacity while maintaining Magpul's focus on durability, reliability, and ease of maintenance.

The D-60 features an impact- and crush-resistant polymer body, reinforced internals, an anti-tilt follower, and constant-curve internal geometry designed to promote consistent feeding. A ratcheting loading lever reduces spring tension during loading, making it easier to load the drum by hand without excessive thumb pressure.

For maintenance, the D-60 can be disassembled for cleaning using a flat-bladed tool. A semi-rigid slip-on dust cover helps protect the magazine from grit and debris during storage and transport. The drum also incorporates a rear translucent window for quickly checking remaining ammunition and a paint-pen marking panel for identification.

The PMAG D-60 incorporates a last-round bolt hold-open feature on compatible platforms and is designed to seat fully loaded on a closed bolt. Its feed tower is compatible with common loading devices, including USGI stripper clips and guides and the StripLULA®.

Made in the USA, the PMAG D-60 is designed for users who want increased capacity in a durable, maintainable drum magazine for compatible 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington platforms.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
