PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The Magpul BEV™ Block (Barrel Extension Vice Block) is a versatile vise block designed to securely support AR15/M4 upper and lower receivers during maintenance, assembly, builds, and other gunsmithing work. Designed to fit into common bench vises, the BEV Block provides a secure interface while supporting the receiver internally to help prevent unwanted flexing or twisting.

For upper receiver work, the top end of the BEV Block engages the lug recesses inside the barrel extension using steel lugs and a full-length steel support shank. An O-ring post engages the bolt carrier for additional support, while the included security pin helps maintain the BEV Block's proper position within the upper receiver.

When flipped over, the bottom end of the BEV Block engages an AR15/M4 magazine well, allowing the lower receiver to be securely positioned in a vise for maintenance and other work.

The BEV Block combines steel engagement components with durable, non-marring Magpul polymer on the engagement surfaces beyond the barrel extension lugs. Weighing just 11.2 ounces and made in the USA, the Magpul BEV Block is a practical addition to an AR15/M4 maintenance and workbench setup.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
