Tavor 7 – The Next Evolution in Bullpup Battle Rifles

The Tavor 7 is the latest and most advanced member of the Tavor bullpup family, engineered by IWI to meet the growing demand for a 7.62×51 NATO bullpup rifle. A direct response to feedback from military and civilian users, the Tavor 7 combines rugged reliability with enhanced ergonomic features that set it apart from earlier models like the Tavor X95 and Tavor SAR.

Built with a short stroke adjustable gas system, the Tavor 7 is perfect for suppressor use, offering four gas settings (including an OFF position for special operations). This platform is fully ambidextrous, with easily reversible ejection, charging handle, safety selector, and magazine release—allowing for seamless operation whether you’re left- or right-handed. The rifle also includes a 45-degree ambidextrous safety and retains the M4-style ambidextrous magazine release, making it intuitive for users familiar with modern firearms.

The Tavor 7 features an M-LOK fore-end and MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions for versatile accessory attachment. The chrome-lined barrel enhances accuracy and barrel life, while the high-strength impact-modified polymer body ensures durability and reduced weight, making this battle rifle easy to handle in any tactical situation.

Key Features:

  • Caliber: 7.62×51 NATO

  • Adjustable Gas System: 4-position regulator (including OFF) for enhanced suppression

  • Ambidextrous: Reversible charging handle, magazine release, safety selector, and ejection side

  • Barrel: 16.5" chrome-lined, hammer-forged barrel for optimal accuracy and durability

  • Compatibility: SR25 pattern magazines, 5/8×24 threaded barrel

  • Accessory Rails: M-LOK forend, Picatinny rails at 12 and 6 o’clock positions

  • Quick Detach Sling Points: On both stock and receiver

  • User Customization: Modular pistol grip can be swapped or modified

Whether you're engaging in tactical operations, home defense, or long-range shooting, the Tavor 7 is built to perform under pressure. Its compact design, combined with the power of the 7.62 NATO round, delivers unmatched versatility and reliability in any environment.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
