PRODUCT DETAILS

TECH SPECS:

The IWI Galil ACE GEN II 13" Rifle continues the legacy of one of the most battle-proven rifle systems ever developed—modernized for today’s shooter with enhanced ergonomics, modularity, and performance. Rooted in the original Galil design and inspired by the legendary AK-47 and Finnish Valmet RK 62, the GEN II platform represents over 50 years of continuous refinement.

Chambered in 5.56 NATO and featuring a versatile 13” barrel, this configuration delivers an ideal balance of velocity, control, and maneuverability. The cold hammer forged, chrome-lined CrMoV barrel paired with a 1:7 twist rate ensures durability and consistent accuracy across a wide range of ammunition.

At its core, the rifle utilizes a long-stroke gas piston system with a closed rotating bolt, providing exceptional reliability in adverse conditions—hallmarks of the AK-derived platform. The left-side reciprocating charging handle allows for intuitive weak-hand operation, improving speed and control during manipulations.

GEN II upgrades elevate the platform with a full-length 2-piece Picatinny top rail for optics, a free-float M-LOK handguard for accessories, and an updated trigger and refined safety profile for improved ergonomics. Weight reduction through modern polymer components enhances handling without sacrificing durability.

Compatible with 5.56 NATO STANAG magazines, the Galil ACE GEN II provides flexibility across your existing loadout while maintaining the rugged performance expected from IWI. Whether for tactical use, training, or defensive applications, this rifle delivers proven reliability in a modernized platform.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
