TECH SPECS:

The Geissele Super Duty® MOD1-A SBR delivers the proven performance of the Super Duty MOD1 platform with the added versatility of fully ambidextrous controls. Chambered in 5.56 NATO and equipped with an 11.5-inch cold hammer forged barrel, the MOD1-A is purpose-built for shooters who demand reliability, durability, and intuitive control in a compact SBR configuration.

The Super Duty MOD1-A features a Super Duty ambidextrous billet lower receiver paired with a Super Duty M4 upper receiver. Fully ambidextrous controls enhance manipulation for right- and left-handed shooters, with a left-side magazine release and right-side bolt catch and release controls designed for efficient reloads and malfunction clearances.

At the heart of the rifle is an 11.5-inch Geissele cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a tapered profile and 1:7 twist rate. The Geissele Stressproof Bolt® is manufactured from Carpenter 158+ steel and is both High-Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) for enhanced durability and dependable service life. The Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group further supports the rifle's duty-ready performance.

A precisely tuned carbine-length gas system works with the Super Compact Gas Block and Super 42® braided buffer spring with H3 buffer to promote reliable cycling and help reduce felt recoil. The SSA-E X® two-stage trigger with Lightning Bow® provides a crisp, predictable trigger break, while Nanoweapon®-coated internals offer enhanced durability.

The 10.5-inch MK16 M-LOK rail with Geissele Center Tab provides a rigid, modular mounting platform, while the HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556 offers compatibility with the HUXWRX FLOW suppressor series. A B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stock, Geissele A17 grip, stainless steel QD inserts, and Geissele QD Endplate complete the package.

Finished in Black, the Super Duty MOD1-A SBR is a compact, fully ambidextrous rifle platform engineered for demanding applications where performance, reliability, and user adaptability are paramount.

Note: This is an NFA-regulated Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR). Transfer and possession are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
