TECH SPECS:

The Geissele Reliability Enhancement Kit® H1 5.56 mm is the definitive operating system upgrade for AR-15 pattern rifles built around 5.56 mm NATO cartridges. Designed from years of intensive testing and refinement, this premium kit combines a Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (REBCG) with a Super 42 braided wire buffer spring and H1 buffer to dramatically improve feeding consistency, reduce friction, and enhance cycling reliability under a wide range of conditions.

At the heart of the kit is Geissele’s full-mass, full-auto rated M16/M4 bolt carrier group, precision-machined from mil-spec 8620 steel with an ultra-durable Nanoweapon® chrome-nitride coating that provides industry-leading corrosion, wear, and abrasion resistance. The extended upper rails on the carrier add stability and minimize carrier tilt for smoother operation.

Included with the REBCG is the Geissele Stressproof Bolt®, forged from Carpenter 158+ material engineered for significantly greater fatigue resistance and strength compared to typical mil-spec bolts. Every component — from the H13 cam pin to the Nanoweapon®-coated parts — is rigorously inspected and treated to ensure confidence-inspiring performance and long service life in defensive, duty, or high-round-count environments.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
