TECH SPECS:

The Dead Air Nomad Ti OTB is an ultralight titanium rifle silencer designed around an over-the-barrel configuration that minimizes the amount of length added to the host firearm. Building on the Nomad Ti XC lineage, the Nomad Ti OTB extends its blast chamber rearward over the barrel to reduce the silencer's forward profile while maintaining a lightweight, balanced setup.

At just 10.5 ounces, the Nomad Ti OTB adds only 4.6 inches to the overall length of the firearm while providing suppression for compatible rifle calibers up to .300 RUM and 7mm Backcountry. Its 7.65-inch overall silencer length and 1.76-inch diameter are paired with a 6AL4V Grade 5 titanium construction and high-temperature Cerakote finish available in Black or FDE.

The Nomad Ti OTB incorporates Xeno™ muzzle device architecture directly into its 3D-printed silencer design and ships with a DA870 Xeno™ Radial Brake in 5/8-24 for a repeatable mounting system. It is compatible with Dead Air Xeno muzzle devices but is specifically incompatible with the Browning Xeno™ Recoil Hawg Muzzle Brake family.

Designed for bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles, the Nomad Ti OTB carries a 4400+ ft-lb energy rating and is not full-auto rated. Barrel restrictions apply by caliber, including a minimum 12.5-inch barrel for 5.56 and a minimum 16-inch barrel for .300 RUM and 7mm Backcountry.

What is the difference between a bolt-action rifle and a semi-automatic rifle? Answers (1)

Proven Arms & Outfitters A bolt-action rifle requires the shooter to manually operate a bolt to load a round, eject the spent casing, and chamber the next round. In contrast, a semi-automatic rifle is designed to automatically eject the spent casing and chamber a new round with each pull of the trigger. Semi-automatic rifles offer faster follow-up shots, while bolt-action rifles are typically more accurate due to their design.
