What It Does

The Apex Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit is engineered to provide the M&P (9mm, .357Sig & .40S&W only) pistol owner a smooth, consistent 5.0 to 5.5 lbs. trigger pull with the advantages of shorter over-travel and shortened trigger reset. All of the components work together to provide a pull weight within the acceptable range for a top end, service pistol. The kit itself is designed to be drop-in and should not require further gunsmithing, however, armorer or gunsmith installation is recommended.

Applicable To What Gun(s)
  • Works with all Smith and Wesson M&P Full Size, Compact, Long Slide and Pro Models, with or without thumb safeties and magazine disconnects.
  • Works in conjunction with the Apex Action Enhancement Polymer or Aluminum Trigger or as a stand-alone
  • Does NOT function in the M&P 45 (please see M&P 45 Duty/Carry AE Kit).
  • Does NOT function in the M&P Shield (please see M&P Shield Duty/Carry Kit).

  • 1 ea. Duty Carry Spring Set (Trigger Return Spring, 1/8" Sear Spring*)
  • 1 ea. Ultimate Striker Block Kit (Striker Block, Spring and Talon Tactical Tool)

Installation Resources This kit REQUIRES the use of the larger 1/8 inch sear spring and plunger set up. If your M&P has a 1/16th inch diameter sear plunger and spring, we strongly advise you upgrade to a new style sear housing block before installing this product. All function and reliability testing was done with a 1/8 inch sear plunger and spring, therefore we cannot guarantee proper function without the appropriate size sear plunger and spring.
