The Prodigy™ from Springfield Armory takes the proven 1911 platform and enhances it with double-stack capacity and a performance-driven feature set. Finished in durable Coyote Brown Cerakote®, the Prodigy features a polymer grip mounted to a forged steel frame, offering capacities of 17+1 and 20+1. The double stack magazine feeds a 4.25-inch bull barrel with 11-degree crown for match-grade accuracy. Optics-ready, the Prodigy utilizes AOS (Agency Optic System) plates with an integrated rear sight, allowing for proper sight alignment and an intuitive sight picture. Each Prodigy ships with a HEX Dragonfly-compatible plate, while additional optic-specific plates are available for purchase.
